Stainless steel worktops were until recently, generally applied to commercial kitchens and catering companies. But now more and more homes are using stainless steel for domestic use.
With its streamline appeal, fully integrated sink units and the upturned seamless splash back, steel is the choice for those who require a worktop that has a more contemporary feel to it.
Steel worktops do not absorb dirt or water. The top surface is completely impervious, which makes for a very easy to clean surface. This is exactly why stainless steel has, for many years, been the material of choice for industrial kitchens.
Fabrication
The worktops are manufactured from the finest stainless steel and finished to your personal requirements with each surface being fabricated from either an 800mm wide sheet or a 1000mm wide sheet. We generally use a 304 grade (18/10) although we can obtain 316 if you require stainless steel worktops for use in professional kitchens.
We manufacture sink units, which can be fully integrated into the worktop as well as cut-outs for tap, plug and basket drainer waste holes.
We offer no drainer grooves with stainless steel, as we believe that this gives a more streamline appearance. Instead we offer a water-safe edge thus eliminating the need for drainer grooves. We can also incorporate up-stands into the top giving a seamless up-turn of material. |
